A Sept. 17 fender-bender on Ga. Highway 74 South involving a Rising Star Middle School bus and a car resulted in no injuries.
Fayette County School System spokesperson Melinda Berry-Dreisbach said the traffic accident occurred at Hwy. 74 South and Redwine Road while the bus was transporting students to school.
Berry-Dreisbach said the bus was stopped at the traffic light and had come to a complete stop when the front porton of a small vehicle came to a stop under the rear of the bus.
Berry-Dreisbach said no students were injured, adding that the students were transported to school.
The bus driver did not receive a citation, Berry-Dreisbach said.
