William Ray Fleming, 76, of Brooks, passed away on September 15, 2015.
We have lost a God fearing, hardworking, passionate family man. He volunteered his time in so many areas. He loved his children, grandchildren,great-grandchildren and was a friend to all who knew him. Bill served God’s creation out in the corn field, in his church with missions in his community and all over the world. He was strategic in bringing Fire and EMS Services to the town of Leesburg, Ga., volunteered his services, and did it all with a loving heart.
In his endeavors, he loved everything he did and everybody around him with the biggest smile.
His legacy left wife Connie Carter Fleming, 7 children: Tanya (Bill) Buttner, Rhonda (Hugh) Futch, Joe Fleming, Licia (Jamie) Langley, Beth (Gordon) Back, Michael (Bailey) Fleming, Stacie (Terry) Huddleston, 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Janie Woods Fleming.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 2 p.m. at East Newnan Baptist Church, 577 East Gordon Road, Newnan, Ga., 30263.
