Phil Prebor, candidate for City Council Post 1, and I worked on a project to find out what services the people of Peachtree City want and what we are willing to pay for them.
Phil was a bulldog, digging into the city budget to learn what’s really being collected and where it’s really being spent. He learned from this project the importance of citizen input, and that the budget is more than just dollars and balance sheets.
I’m writing as a friend of Phil, not as a board member of the Friends of the Peachtree City Library. However, it’s fair to note that Phil’s company is a sustaining member of the Friends for his pro bono installation of the art grid wall in the Adult Fiction Wing.
This display was the dream of the library staff, and was realized only because of Phil’s generosity.
