Race offers cash for community volunteer groups

The Divas Half Marathon & 5K returns to Peachtree City Sept. 12 and is looking for volunteers interested in helping out at the event to make it a successful, enjoyable and memorable experience for the athletes.

This volunteering experience can provide a good fundraising opportunity or can be used to fulfill student volunteering hour requirements.  The organization typically offers a donation of $200 to a group of about 15+ volunteers. A volunteer group can sometimes get multiple donations depending on its size.
