Transfer station closing for maintenance

Fayette County’s Transfer Station located 211 1st Manassas Mile Road in Fayetteville will close Saturday, Aug. 29.

The closure of the Transfer Station, often referred to as “the landfill,” will only be for one day for maintenance purposes.

No disposals or mulch-loading activities will be permitted while the Transfer Station is closed.

The Transfer Station will re-open and resume regular operating hours Monday, Aug. 31.
