Thomas Edward Spath, 76, of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away on August 1, 2015.
He was born in Sewickley, Pa. on August 5, 1938 to the late Helen Eiben Spath and Edward A. Spath. He graduated the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. He worked for Phillips Electronics of the Netherlands and for Southern Scientific, and also as a private consultant in both the US and the Netherlands. He was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marilynn “Bunny” Arnold Spath; son, Scott Spath (Linda); daughter, Sheri Pieloch; grandchildren, Rocco, Chelsea, and Jake Spath, sister, Suellen Grossi (Al); and his nieces & nephews, Laura Grossi, Dana Keel (Jesse), Tracy Arnold, and Samantha Field.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. with Deacon Tony Cuomo officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held after the service.
