New Neighbors League Club, an active force in the community for making connections, announced its annual “amnesty month” for neighbors who want to join the fun but have lived in the area for more than a year.

To join, residents may come to one of three August events, including a club meeting or one of the group’s coffees:

* The monthly meeting Thursday, Aug. 6, at 9:30 a.m. at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 101 N. Peachtree Pkwy in Peachtree City.

* A coffee Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m. at Due South in Peachtree City.

* A coffee Thursday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m. at a member’s home. Call Carol Jensen-Linton at 770-486-9116 for details.

Membership costs $45 annually. NNLC’s purpose is to bring newcomers to the area together so that they may meet and become friends while adjusting to new surroundings.

NNLC is a not-for-profit social organization that has a wide variety of special interest groups. Anyone who lives in the Fayette-Coweta County area and would like more information about NNLC, contact Club Director Carol Jensen-Linton at 770-486-9116 or visit www.newneighborsptc.com.
