Peachtree City police investigators are on the look-out for those responsible for two recent residential break-ins in the Wynmeade subdivision and at the Retreat at Peachtree City Apartments.
Police department spokesperson Odilia Bergh said a Wynmeade home on North Meade Drive was burglarized sometime between July 15 and July 22.
Noting that the family was not a home, Bergh said the front door to the residence was forced open.
Upon returning home, the resident reported that items missing included his children’s Social Security cards and birth certificates, $2,000 in cash, a laptop computer, television, an air compressor and a paint spray gun.
The second burglary occurred at the Retreat at Peachtree City Apartments in Kedron Village and was discovered on July 22.
Bergh said entry was made after a door was forced open. Noting that no one was in the apartment, Bergh said officers were told the contents of a closet was rummaged, but nothing was reported missing.
