Peachtree CIty police investigators are asking residents to be on the lookout for a silver 2011 Honda Odessey van stolen during an armed burglary on Blue Smoke Trail early Sunday morning where several of the residents suffered minor injuries.

Department spokesman Mark Brown said three armed males forced entry into a residence off Blue Smoke Trail around midnight on Aug. 2.

The suspects took cash, jewelry, cell phones and a vehicle, Brown said.

Brown said injuries were sustained by some of the several residents at home during the incident, adding that those injured were treated and released at the scene.

“The incident does not appear to be a random act, as the victims recently returned to their residence after closing their restaurant business in another county,” said Brown.

Brown asked area residents to be on the lookout for a silver 2011 Honda Odyssey van, Georgia tag BSI -87261, that was stolen from the residence as the suspects left the scene.

“If you own or manage a business in Peachtree City, please call 770-461-HELP for a free escort for your employees when leaving work for the evening or for making night deposits at the bank,” Brown said.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked call 770-487-8866 or use the anonymous tip soft line.
