Rachel Compagno, a 2015 graduate of McIntosh High School, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Department of Georgia, The American Legion.
The scholarship is one of eight awarded this year to children of Georgia legionnaires.
Rachel is the daughter of Vince and Mavis Compagno, members of Post 105. She will be attending Auburn University in the fall.
