Fayette Senior Services has scheduled its “Up In Flames” program for Wednesday, July 22, 2-3 p.m. at The Life Enrichment Center, 4 Center Drive in Fayetteville.
With a number of recent fires in the area, the goal of the program is to refresh members of the public on fire safety at home. Jimmy Hall with the Fayette County Fire Department will talk about the most common causes of fire risks in homes, prevention methods to take, and ways to stay calm in case of an emergency.
The program is free but pre-registration is required at 770-461-0813 or register@fayss.org (include name, phone number and event title). FSS members and non-members welcome. For more information, visit www.fayss.org.
