Coweta Arts, a gallery in the entryway of the Coweta County Administration building at 22 East Broad Street in Newnan, is featuring three local artists in the latest exhibit that opened June 1 and will run through the end of July.

Nikki Neal graduated Fayette County High in 2004 and studied art at the University of West Georgia and Gordon College and works mostly with graphite pencils and does family portraits. Nikki and her husband Jeremiah enjoy life with their three children: Bella, Malachi and Scarlett.

Caitlin M. Stamey has been living in Coweta County since 2006. Her family bought a horse farm, Heavenly Acres Stable, where they offer various services to those in the Equine industry. Caitlin began photography because of her love for horses.

Shenea Wilson works with mixed media.  Her painting, “She,” consists of acrylic, water color and oil pastels over a collage of tissue paper for texture. Ever since she was a child Shenea painted or drew most anywhere and is pretty sure she received many spankings for the multiple walls that were crayon-filled from top to bottom.
