Konos Academy’s drama program is hosting an old-fashioned Saturday movie matinee in Fayetteville on April 25.
The event will include characters in costume, and all children are encouraged to dress up and compete in a costume contest with prizes. Fairy wings and swords will be for sale for those who forget costumes as well as renaissance crafts and concessions.
Tickets are $6 for children and adults, and guests may take unlimited pictures with the characters.
The festivities will be at 383 Fayette Place in Fayetteville behind LaHacinda off GA Hwy 85 north of the square.
This fun family day will include the watching of a popular Disney movie with a beautiful princess and lots of adventure. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the costume contest starts at 2:25, just before the movie.
Money from this event supports the Konos drama productions, which will be “Mulan” and “The Music Man” for the 2015-16 season.
