The Southern Crescent Chorale wraps up its 13th season with an inspiring and fun-filled concert at the Southern Ground Amphitheater on Saturday, May 2, at 8 p.m.
It will be an evening of music under the stars as SCC performs patriotic, show and pop tunes accompanied by the Jazz League and Steve Shivers.
The show, “Stars and Stripes” is an energetic concert featuring the chorale, local soloist Bobby Lacey, and a band performing patriotic, show and pop tunes. This concert has been approved by Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) as an approved Proud Supporter event. Patrons will have an opportunity to donate to WWP.
“Our ‘Salute to America’ season has been a resounding success,” said Artistic Director and Conductor Janice Folsom. “How fitting that we should present our final concert of the season as an approved Proud Supporter for the Wounded Warrior Project. We hope that many of our fine men and women in uniform as well as veterans and community members will join us for this evening celebrating our brave soldiers who sacrifice so much to keep our country safe and preserve the freedom that we enjoy.”
