Flat Rock Middle bands perform superbly

All Flat Rock Middle School Bands recently received the highest possible rating at the Large Group Performance Evaluation at the Coweta Performing Arts Center in Newnan.

The 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade bands, all led by Band Director Matthew Price, received straight Superior ratings to complete a perfect showing for the FRMS bands.

Flat Rock Middle School was the only school in the district that had a 6^th grade beginning band able to participate in the evaluation, which is very competitive. All of the band ensembles have consistently received straight superior ratings under Price’s direction.

To see them perform in person, the bands will perform a Spring Concert Tuesday, May 12, at Sandy Creek High School at 7p.m.
