Lenten Lunches will continue to be served each Thursday at noon in the Fellowship Hall of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
Sponsored each week by a UMW Circle, the Lenten Lunch series includes a meal ($2) and a study. Lessons are from the book “Renegade Gospel: The Rebel Jesus.”
This Thursday’s luncheon will be sponsored by the Joy Circle.
Begun several years ago, the luncheons have become a popular event during the Lenten season in Fayetteville. Everyone in the community is invited to participate.
