Due to a scheduling conflict, the Fayette County Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting has been moved this week from Thursday to Tuesday, at 7 p.m. in the meeting room at the county administrative complex in Fayetteville.

No public hearings were scheduled. The consent agenda includes:

  • Approval of a professional services contract with Nichols, Cauley & Associates for performance of the annual audit by an outside independent audit firm for Fiscal Year 2015, at a total cost of $74,350 with two one-year options to renew the contract.

  • Establishing the annual budget calendar for FY2016 which begins July 1 and ends June 30, 2016.

  • Approval of recommended mid-year budget adjustments for the current fiscal year.

  • Authorization from the board affirming Promise Place’s efforts to obtain funding through the Emergency Solutions Grant.

  • Approval of a $71,855 contract with Southeastern Pressure Grouting for the grouting of the Lake Peachtree Spillway.

Approval of minutes from the two most recent board meetings.

 

No old business was placed on the agenda. New business includes consideration of the following appointments: Neely Moody to the Fayette County Ethics Board; Arnold Martin to the Fayette County Planning Commission; and Marsha Hopkins to the Fayette County Zoning Board of Appeals.

 

Also on the agenda is a discussion of the conceptual design and cost estimate for the Justice Center Passive Park.
