30th Annual Kiwanis Club Art & Music Showcase scheduled for March 23

The 2015 Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase is going to be the largest on record with 184 pieces of art and 64 musical entries.

The showcase is sponsored by the Peachtree City Kiwanis Club and is open to all first-graders through seniors in Fayette County.   It is open to all students in the county regardless of which school they attend.  Public, private, Sam’s School, and homeschooled children are all involved in the showcase this year.

During the next two weeks, the music groups and artwork will be reviewed by age group and judged.   The artwork will be displayed at the final showcase event and the music groups will perform and be judged to determine the top groups or individuals by age groups.

The final showcase event is free to the public and will be held on Monday, March 23, at 7 p.m. at the Bridge Community Center, 225 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City,

The high school winners will compete on the state level where college scholarships are awarded.

The Peachtree City Kiwanis Club organized in 1971 and provides many programs to support children in the community.
