0Lenten Lunch will be served each Thursday at noon in the Fellowship Hall of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
The luncheons are a popular church tradition and have been offered for the past several years.
Sponsored each week by a UMW Circle, the Lenten Lunch series includes a meal ($2) and a study. Lessons are from the book “Renegade Gospel: The Rebel Jesus.”
The Feb. 26 luncheon will be sponsored by the Friendship Circle.
Everyone in the community is invited to participate.
