Darrell S. Haskin, director of flight crew systems at Delta Air Lines, has been appointed to serve as the new Fayetteville stake president over members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
The stake president, along with Gregory W. Kennedy and Tanner Corbridge, two counselors, will be responsible for presiding and directing the work of the church for more than 3,700 members residing in the ten congregations that encompass Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Lamar, Pike and Upson counties.
Haskin served a two-year volunteer church mission in Thailand.
He and his wife, Carla, have been married 32 years, have five children and two grandchildren, and live in Fayetteville. He will continue his career at Delta.
Gregory W. Kennedy, senior vice president – Worldport Operations for Delta Air Lines, will serve as first counselor.
Kennedy served a two-year volunteer mission for the church in South Africa. He and his wife, Pamela, have been married 33 years, have four children and five grandchildren and live in Fayetteville. Kennedy will also continue his career at Delta.
Tanner Corbridge, business unit president for Partners In Leadership, will serve as second counselor.
Corbridge served a volunteer mission for the church in the West Indies. He and his wife, Erin, have four children and live in Peachtree City. Corbridge will continue his Partners In Leadership career.
