Stanley Sitzler of Newnan has been promoted to chief operating officer (COO) of the Coweta-Fayette EMC.
Sitzler is former senior vice president of Administrative Services of the EMC and has been with the cooperative since 1978.
Sitzler began his co-op career as a student in the engineering department. He has served as staking engineer, engineering assistant and chief dispatcher, operations supervisor and district office manager, among other positions.
“Stanley has served in numerous roles throughout his career, developing an extensive knowledge base of our operations that will help guide us as we move forward,” said cooperative CEO Chris Stephens. “Stanley has proven to be dependable, honest and a respected member of the senior staff. He is a true asset to Coweta-Fayette EMC.”
Coweta-Fayette EMC is a consumer-owned cooperative providing electricity and related services to over 76,000 member accounts in Coweta, Fayette, Heard, South Fulton, Clayton, Spalding, Troup and Meriwether Counties.
