Peachtree City student to study abroad

University of Evansville student McKenna Ceci of Peachtree City will spend the Spring 2015 semester studying abroad at Harlaxton College, UE’s British campus near Grantham, England.

Ceci is majoring in Theatre Performance.

UE’s study abroad program at Harlaxton College, has been ranked number one in America by BestCollegeReviews.org.

Harlaxton College is an historic 150-room manor house in the English countryside, which some call UE’s own “Hogwarts. The Harlaxton curriculum offers an interdisciplinary introduction to British life and culture. Classes are combined with lectures, seminars, and field trips to locations such as Lincoln and London.

In addition, students enroll in classes in the liberal arts and pre-professional studies. Weekend trips to destinations such as London, Paris, Ireland, Wales, and the Lake District in northern England provide opportunities to engage the culture in Britain and beyond.

While at Harlaxton, students may participate in the Meet-a-Family program, athletics, and other activities.
