Fayette County Emergency Management is having its Third Annual Fayette County Faith-Based Conference on Saturday, Feb. 7.
The conference will feature a guest speaker from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and many related topics, including; lessons learned from the 2014 ice storm, Georgia Power storm response overview, personal preparedness at home, preparing for functional needs population, the National Weather Service and CPR training.
A session designed to give facts on Ebola is also planned.
The conference will be held at Heritage Christian Church, 2130 Redwine Road in Fayetteville, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The conference is free, but attendees must register by emailing Division Chief Pete Nelms at [email protected].
