COS changes worship time
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City announces a change in worship schedule beginning Jan. 3, Saturday evening worship will be at 6 p.m. This service, 45 minutes in length, has been called “warm and family-like” by minister in music David Beecher. It includes music, hymns, a sermon, and Holy Communion. All are welcome. The church is at the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.

Donate outer wear, comforters
Kwik Wash Coin Laundry of Fayetteville and Church Of The Harvest International of Jonesboro are joining efforts to collect unneeded, gently used, outer wear and comforters. During the month of December, COTHI Closet Ministry will be accepting donations at Kwik Wash Coin Laundry, located at 909 N. Glynn Street, Fayetteville. (Behind the new Family Dollar) Throughout the year, COTHI Closet Ministry distributes thousands of clothing items to local and surrounding communities in need. COTHI Closet, now a three year ministry, is dedicated to continuing servicing the community with donated items.

Marriage class offered
Fayette Bible Church offers a free Marriage Replenishment Class every other Wednesday at 7 p.m.. Hosted by Joe and Rhonda Robinson of  thecolorofmarriage.com, the class is open to singles, couples and those married. Fayette Bible Church is at 355 McDonough Rd., Fayetteville. Holy Trinity offers Stephen Ministry
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City offers Stephen Ministry to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. Catholics as well as non Catholics are eligible to receive care.  A Stephen Minister is a well-trained caregiver who listens, cares, prays, and encourages during a time of need.  Care is confidential and free. Genealogy classes held each Tuesday
The LDS Church’s Fayetteville Family History lab offers free family history sessions on various topics and areas of research each Tuesday evening from 7 – 8:30 p.m. The class meets at 2021 Redwine Road in Fayetteville. ESL classes meet every Friday
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults meet weekly through May 15, 2015 at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church, PCA.  Classes are free and students can join any time.  Classes are held on Fridays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.  Childcare is provided.  The church is at 101 Carriage Lane, Peachtree City.
