The community is invited to journey to Christmas at A Service of Lessons and Carols on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 8:30 and 11 a.m. at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
The service prepares hearts for the coming of Christ celebrated at Christmas with nine lessons from scripture and musical expressions of each segment. Some of the Chancel Choir’s anthems include “I Saw Three Ships,” “The Celtic Rose,” “Shepherds, Play Your Pipes Tonight,” and the Enniscorthy Carol.” The choir will be joined by the full orchestra and two children’s choirs for the services.
