COS’s chili supper is tonight
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City invites all to the annual Thanksgiving Eve Chili Supper and Worship Service on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. Worship will follow the supper. Worship will feature three lay speakers, Pat Rach, Brad Jubin, and Stefan Welch (via videotape). There is no charge. The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.
St. Paul plans Pie Fellowship tonight
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will host a Pie Fellowship and Thanksgiving Eve Service Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 6 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring a pie to share. The service, followed by the pie fellowship, will be held in the upper level cafeteria. St. Paul Lutheran Church is at 700 Ardenlee Parkway, Peachtree City.
Wind ensemble to present concert
St. Paul Lutheran Church, 700 Ardenlee Parkway, Peachtree City, will host a concert, “Music to Celebrate Christmas,” presented by The Peachtree Wind Ensemble, Saturday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m. Admission is free. The Peachtree Wind Ensemble is a non-profit community band with volunteer members from Fayette County and the surrounding areas. Marriage class offered
Fayette Bible Church offers a free Marriage Replenishment Class every other Wednesday at 7 p.m. Hosted by Joe and Rhonda Robinson of thecolorofmarriage.com, the class is open to singles, couples and those married. Register for Woolsey’s 1k, 5k
The fourth annual 5k for missions at Woolsey Baptist Church will be held Saturday, Dec. 6. Registration is now open and continues through Friday, Dec. 5 (2-4 p.m.) and until 7:30 a.m. on race day.
