Light Up Senoia is Saturday, Dec. 6. The food court next to City Hall opens at noon, and the famous Budweiser Clydesdales are coming from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., weather permitting, and will be available for photos.

The holiday festivities include a food court (which opens at noon), music from East Coweta High School’s band, lighting of the tree, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, pony rides and face painting.

There will also be a Santa’s Workshop at the Masonic Lodge next to the library.

Funnel cakes and hot chocolate will be available, and attendees will be able to purchase tickets at $15 each for the upcoming Candlelight Tour of Homes. The event is on Dec. 14 and participants tour a historic church and five homes decorated for Christmas.

Charlie Filkins and Scott Sargeant will be the emcees for the day.

A parade at 5:30 p.m. will cap off the night’s scheduled activities, but Senoia’s downtown shops and restaurants will be open late in lieu of the event.
