Online water bill pay not such a good deal

I saw the article in The Citizen where the Fayette County Water System has joined the 21st Century with online bill pay.

Well, not really. Turns out you cannot automatically have your water bill charged to a certain credit or debit card. You have to manually log in each month and pay each bill when it becomes due.

This is an improvement? Even more annoying is you are charged a $3.95 service charge for each payment. I think I will stay with my bank’s online bill pay that is free.
