Michael S. Sitton and Karla W. Sitton would like to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Meagan Danielle Sitton to Michael Scott Bearden. The bride is the granddaughter of Charles and Kathleen Whitehead and Estelle McMillian (late). She is the great-granddaughter of Warren and Corrie Alma (late) Phillips and the late Julian Perry and Mae Nell Strickland. The groom is the son of David and Lela Bearden. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Bearden (late) and Ray and Eloise McElwaney (late).

The bride is a graduate of West Georgia College and teaches science at Greenville High School. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Education at West Georgia College. The groom is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School and the owner of M. Bearden Distributing.

The wedding is planned for October 4, 2014 in Chatsworth Georgia, at the Bearden Estates and will be officiated by Pastor Charles Whitehead.
