A Fayette County man and woman were arrested Aug. 7 on charges of drug trafficking after four ounces of methamphetamine were found at their residence on Ga. Highway 54 West.

Members of the sheriff’s Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT) arrested Thomas Burgamy, 39, and Kimberly A. Dubose, 37, on charges of trafficking drugs and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, according to Sheriff Barry Babb.

Babb said TNT agents executed a search warrant at 1512 Hwy. 54 West as part of an ongoing TNT investigation. Agents at the residence found approximately four ounces of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana, Babb said. Also found during the search was $1,600 in cash, Babb added.

Dubose and Burgamy were arrested without incident, said Babb.
