The Summit plans yard sale
The Summit Church will hold a church-wide yard sale on Saturday June 7, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the church,  1373 Ga. Hwy. 92 S. Fayetteville. Proceeds from the sale will go to the building fund. The Summit is building a Family Resource Center for the community which will house a food pantry, tutoring center, and a bank of computers and resources for job-seekers.

Providence VBS starts next week
Providence United Methodist Church will host “Weird Animals” VBS June 9-13 from 9 a.m.-noon. There is no charge for VBS. Parents can register children who  are entering kindergarten through fifth grade by downloading forms at provumc.com or coming by the church. T-shirts and VBS music CDs can be purchased for $5 each. St. Paul Lutheran plans VBS
Vacation Bible School at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, 700 Ardenlee Parkway, Peachtree City,  will be June 9-13, from 9 a.m. – noon and is free to all three year olds through rising fifth graders. Those who are entering middle school are welcome to be involved  through volunteer assistance. This year’s theme is “Weird Animals, Where Jesus’s Love is One-of-a-Kind. “ Register at www.stpaulptc.org/2014-vbs.

VBS starts at Woolsey Baptist June 16
Woolsey Baptist Church, 115 Hampton Road in Fayetteville, will have VBS June 16-20, from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Family Night will be June 20 at 7 p.m. This year’s theme is: Lifeway’s Agency D3: Discover, Decide, Defend (I Peter 3:15).
