Jacqueline Anne Schisler, age 78, passed away on April 28, 2014, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Detroit, Mich., to the late Douglas Carl Gustaf Peterson, and Grace Marie Anastasia Mercier Peterson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Schisler.
Jackie enjoyed a long career as an executive administrative assistant at Ford Motor Company. She was an avid reader and bridge player, and she loved to travel. She is survived by her siblings: Douglas (Patricia) Peterson of Lodi, Calif.; Judy (Gary) Jones of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; and Nelson (Carol) Peterson, of Hiram, Ga. She is also survived by her children: Dawn (Joe) McGee, of Fayetteville; John (Patty) Schisler, of Buford, Ga.; her grandchildren: Grace Anne McGee, of Macon, Ga.; Zachary (and Victoria) McGee, of Peachtree City, Ga.; Claire Aldine Elizabeth McGee, of Smyrna, Ga.; and Ava Tallulah Schisler; and her great-granddaughter, Madeline Eloise McGee.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 18, 2014, 2 p.m., Covenant Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, Atlanta, or to the organization of one’s choice in Jackie Schisler’s memory.
