Car show is this weekend

The Coweta Fayette Rotary Club will be hosting its fifth annual Chassis For Charity Car Show August 24 at Junction Lanes in Newnan. 
The show hosts car, truck and bike enthusiast from all over Georgia and Alabama. 

This year’s show will have over 23 classes for cars, trucks and bikes with 1st and 2nd place trophies in each class.  They will also have Best In Show, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine and People’s Choice.  There will be commemorative dash plaques for the first 50 entries and goodie bags for the first 100 entries. 

The Varsity will be there serving up its hamburgers, hot Dogs and fries.  There will be touch a truck for the kids, Dusty The Clown with face painting and balloon art and the Batmobile and Mystery Machine Replicas will be there for children old and young! 
DJ Jamie Eubanks will be spinning tunes all day and there are over $1,000 in Raffle Prizes with a 50/50 Raffle too.  Its free to the public and $20 for participants. 

All proceeds from the event will go to assist Coweta Fayette Rotary with their various community projects all over the county and abroad.  Registration begins at 9 a.m., judging at noon and awards at 2:30 p.m.  Open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. to the public.  This year’s partners are Property Resurrection, Southtowne, Talbot State Bank, Malinda Shelley of Harry Norman Realtors, UBS Financial Services Inc. – Alpharetta, O’Reilly Auto parts – Coweta Locations, Sam Morris State Farm Agency, Dustin Shaw Homes, All Corporate Cleaning, Benton House and Senoia Coffee and Café.  For more information, contact Ginger Queener at 770-253-0478 or visit www.cowetafayetterotary.org.
