Zettie Louise Greer Stockin, age 85, passed away on July 13, 2013.
She was the only child of David Thomas Greer and Clara Law Greer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Alfred B. Stockin, Jr. She was a native of Tampa, Fla., resided in Brooksville, Fla., for many years before moving to Peachtree City, Ga.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the American Sewing Guild and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed working among her flowers, quilting, sewing and crocheting. Many items were donated to those in need through the United Methodist Church Sewing Group.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Louise Stockin Bailey and son-in-law, Lee, of Peachtree City, Ga.; her son, Dr. Alfred Kenneth Stockin, and daughter-in-law, Elsya, of Charlotte, N.C.; granddaughters Brandi Lynette Stone Meeks and her husband, Brian, Emily Louise Stockin and Katherine Rebecca Stockin; grandson Kenneth Coleman Stone and his wife, Tuzi; great grandchildren William Ian Meeks and Camryn Lindsey Meeks.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in a private service at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
