I’m glad you are going to pay your fine, Mr. Fryer. You would not have received the speeding ticket if you very simply obeyed the law. You chose not to adhere to the traffic laws so a traffic ticket was the result.
Police hiding behind bushes, signs, etc., are subjects for cartoons not reality. In all the examples you used, if these people were speeding or drinking and driving they deserved a ticket. The police are always visible but perhaps not to those who are in too much of a hurry to look.
I moved to Peachtree City in September 2000. Unfamiliar with the speed limits, I received a speeding ticket on the parkway north of Ga. Highway 54. Lesson learned: I’ve not been stopped since.
One of the reasons I moved to this location was the low crime rate and that crime rate includes those who ignore our speed limits. Before you ask, I do not work for the city, have any family or friends who work for city, county or state government.
Pay your fine, OBEY the laws and we will be glad to have you visit.
