Hopewell UMC’s VBS will feature SonSurfBeach Bash

Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone invites children in the community to Vacation Bible School June 17-20.

“Children will have a great time singing songs, watching skits, creating crafts and playing games.” said Karen Hoyt, director of children’s ministry. “We’re looking forward to sharing this exciting event with the children and parents in our neighborhood.”

The “Sonsurf Beach Bash” begins Monday, June 17, at 9 a.m. and ends on Thursday, June 20 at noon. On Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. there will be a Family Night Cookout to celebrate the children and the week they have experienced. Cookout donations will benefit the Children’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital.

Hopewell is at 351 Jenkins Rd., across the street from Sandy Creek High.
