Rollings-Latham Engagement

After a yearlong engagement, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Rollings of Peachtree City, Ga. are excited to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Courtney Elizabeth Rollings, to Benjamin Caleb Latham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Latham of Peachtree City, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Lloyd Adams and Ms. Donna Collins of Portland, Oregon and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Rollings of Salem, OR. Courtney is a 2008 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree with a Certificate in Elementary Education and Special Education. She continues her education; currently working on her Masters Degree in Special Education.  

She is employed at The Joseph Sams School in Fayetteville, GA as an Instructional Support Teacher. She teaches a high school level class and describes it as the “best class ever.”

The groom to be is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Latham and the late Harold W. Latham of Elkton, KY and the late CSM (Ret) & the late Ms. Herbert P. McCullah of Clarksville, Tenn.  

Ben is a 2006 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and attended Gordon College in Barnesville, Ga.  Upon his two year completion in 2008, Ben enlisted in the US Navy as an Aviation Warfare Systems Operator.  He has completed his certification as a US Naval Air Crewman and Rescue Swimmer and is currently an AWR2 attached to HELSUBUTRONH11. He has completed two deployments on the CVN 65 USS Enterprise and is currently based at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Fla.  

After a honeymoon in the US Virgin Islands, the newlyweds will reside in Fleming Island, Fla.

The garden wedding will take place June 15, 2013 in Alvaton, Ga.
