Fayette Family Church welcomes Ugandan Children’s Choir Sunday

The Ugandan Thunder Children’s Choir will perform at Fayette Family Church, 1729 Ga. Hwy 54 West in Fayetteville, on Sunday, June 9, at 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The choir consists of 22 children with 15 girls and 7 boys, ages 10-13. The choir will be touring the southeastern United States in June. The concert consists of Ugandan drum songs, track songs in the Lugandan language as well as songs in English, including songs familiar to Americans. The children will sing and dance and worship. The tour is sponsored by Pennies For Posho, a non-profit Christian ministry that provides food, clothing, shelter, and clean drinking water to ten orphanages in Uganda.
