The Peachtree City Police Department is working with the Magnolia Disaster Relief and will be taking donations to be delivered to the Oklahoma City area this Sunday, May 26.
They are requesting water, non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, tooth paste, etc), toiletries, tarps, ropes, duct tape, work gloves, baby items (including Pediasure and Pedialyte), geriatric supplies, and camping equipment (tents, portable stoves etc). Unfortunately, based on a short time schedule they will not have time to separate clothing items and are requesting only new clothing (packaged underwear, T-shirts, and socks) at this time. Future trips will be made and updates will be provided for donation locations as available.
To make sure there is adequate volunteer staffing to collect the items. please drop off items at the Peachtree City Police Department located at 350 Ga. Highway 74 South during the following times:
Wednesday, May 22, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Thursday, May 23, 11a.m. – 3 p.m. and 5 – 7 p.m.
Friday, May 24, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
