FPC Spring Fling is May 11 downtown
Fayette Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville will host its second “Annual Spring Fling” on Saturday, May 11, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the downtown Fayetteville Square gazebo and fountain area (in front of the government complex). It is open to the public. A musical band, booths for games, free rides and popcorn, information and food and beverages will be available. A door prize drawing will be held every hour (ticket donation $1). Those attending are requested to bring a non-perishable item for donation to the Fayette Samaritans and will receive one drawing ticket “free.”
Women’s event planned at Shekinah
Shekinah Glory Fellowship Center, 383 Fayette Place, Fayetteville, will host GOD’S J.E.W.E.L.S. Women’s Empowerment Session on Saturday, May 18 at 10 a.m. All ladies ages 16 and up are invited to attend. GOD’S J.E.W.E.L.S. Jazz Festival planned at The Summit
The Summit Church will hold its Annual Jazz Festival Saturday, May 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. Members of the community are invited to come out and bring their lawn chairs and sit and relax and enjoy the music of the Great Jazz Era from several musical groups. Divorce Care meets at PTCUMC
Divorce Care, for those going through or who recently experienced a divorce, will meet from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday evening at the Robinson Road Campus of Peachtree City United Methodist Church in Room 300. GriefShare sessions at Peachtree City United Methodist Church are open to anyone in the community grieving the loss of a friend or loved one, and/or those who who need to connect with others going through the same journey.
