David William Howland, of Hampton, passed away on March 21, 2013 at the age of 70.
David was a loving and caring husband, son, father, grandfather great-grandfather, and friend who loved to spend time with his family. He was a “family leader,” always there for those that he loved, but also a successful businessman.
David was a hard worker with the highest character and a tremendous work ethic. He served for 12 years as the Plant Manager for the Maxxis International Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Sydney Howland.
David is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judy Marie Howland; daughter Catherine Anne Antosh of Marshfield, Wis.; sons David William Howland and wife Jenna L. of Stockbridge, Justin N. Alexander Howland of Hampton; grandchildren Melanie Kuske of St. Germaine, Wis., Matthew Prochaska of Marshfield, Wis., Rhonna Cheyanne Howland of Stockbridge; mother Mary Joan Howland of Maple Valley, Wash.; brothers John Howland and wife Cathy of Wash., Brian Howland of Wash., Keith Howland and wife Rev. Dr. Sherwood Howland of Anniston, Ala.; and sister Lynn Howland of Wash.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
Rev. Dr. Sherwood Howland officiated. Interment followed in Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family received friends Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
