Worship at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church March 23-24 will be built around a dramatic re-telling of the events of Jesus’ last week.
“The Cry of the Whole Congregation” by Walter Wangerin employs a narrator; the voices of Judas, Peter, and Pilate; a dancer; a soloist; and all worshipers.
The congregation actively participates by reading appointed lines and singing together.
Each of the four services (Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 8:30, 10:50 and 11 a.m.) has a different team of readers. Soloists are Karl Dietmeyer and Charlie Armour. Dancers are Ashley Hall and Ann Perez.
All who would like to hear and help tell the stories of Holy Week are invited.
The church is at the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Highway 54.
