Agnes Brown Newby, 94, of Fayetteville, passed away Feb. 24, 2013.
She is preceded in death by her husband Felton Barge Newby and eight brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son Barge Darrell (Teresa) Newby of Fayetteville; daughter Darlene (Mike) Patton of McDonough; grandchildren Scott Newby of Fayetteville, Bryan (Missy) Newby of Tyrone, Staci Uselton of McDonough, Clint Patton of Senoia; great-grandchildren Calem, Kyleigh, Carson and Kohen Newby of Tyrone, Logan and Ella Agnes Uselton of McDonough, Austin and Hayley Patton of Senoia; sister Christine (Henry) Little of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Peggy Bechtel of Palatka, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Gary Parrish and Reverend Dan Roberts officiated. The burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery, Newnan, Ga. The family received friends Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
