‘Mourning’ sign shot up, stolen

Mr. Obama’s SS Corps (“corpse,” as he calls them) are busy in Fayette County, per Mr. Lawson’s letter in the Feb. 13 Citizen.

Following the election in November, I placed a sign of mourning for my beloved country, stating, “Rest In Peace, America” with a small upside-down American flag, the symbol of a nation in distress. I also fly my large American flag upside down at half-mast.

The last week in January four white men in a red sports car shot four holes in the sign at approximately 4 p.m. My disabled son, working at his computer that faces the street heard the shots, which he thought were firecrackers, saw the vehicle turn around and view the damage, then speed off.

My husband was critically ill at the time. When I returned home, it was late, I was physically and emotionally exhausted, so didn’t call the police.

On Feb. 10, the day following my husband’s funeral, someone stole the sign.

I, too, shall obtain another sign with the intention of displaying it until God answers the prayers of patriotic Americans and heals our land.
