An undetermined amount of medication was stolen from a pharmacy on North Glynn Street in Fayetteville in an early morning break-in on Jan. 21.
Fayetteville Police Det. Mike Whitlow said officers received an alarm call for Jones Pharmacy on Jan. 21 at approximately 4:45 a.m. Officers responding to the scene found the window in the drive-thru area broken out, Whitlow said.
The department’s K-9 unit was called to the scene, Whitlow said, adding that the dog led officers to a nearby parking lot where a car was apparently waiting.
A subsequent check of the pharmacy revealed that an undetermined quantity of various medications had been stolen, said Whitlow.
Whitlow said evidence collected at the scene is being processed.
