New paraments were presented to the congregation of Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church, Sharpsburg, by Virginia Fretwell, Peachtree City, and were dedicated during morning services on The Feast of the Epiphany.

The new paraments, which include an altar hanging, two lectern hangings, a veil, and a burse, are primarily green and will be displayed during the seasons of Epiphany and Kingdomtide, also known as Ordinary Time.

The gift was in memory of Marvin “Bud” Fretwell, Mrs. Fretwell’s late husband.

“The paraments are of exceptionally high quality and will be in service for decades, if not generations,” said David Epps, pastor of the church. A number of family members attended the dedication.
