Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary is seeking applicants for the Elizabeth Wilmot Bull Memorial Scholarship. The statewide merit-based scholarship is awarded annually to students enrolled in a medical/health-related field of study, excluding pre-med or pre-nursing, at an accredited Georgia college or university.
“The Elizabeth Wilmot Bull Memorial Scholarship is given by the Georgia Hospital Association’s Council of Auxiliaries and Volunteers in memory of its founder,” said Kim Fair, services coordinator for Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary. “As a member, Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary is excited to present this opportunity to students in our community.”
Qualified applicants must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and provide an official transcript from the school they attend, two letters of reference and a personal narrative related to their occupational choice and goals. A member of the Auxiliary Scholarship Committee will conduct interviews with all applicants who meet the requirements.
