It may be the season of giving upon us, but it’s also the season of returning, as a 13-year-old Peachtree City girl proved Monday.
The girl, known only as Isabella, found a woman’s wallet at the Kedron Village shopping center and tracked down the owner Sunday.
The wallet’s owner, Natalie Garrett, works at the Sally Beauty Supply store at the shopping center and had originally thought she left it in her inbox at work. She had checked her accounts and there were no fraudulent charges, so there were no reasons to suspect the wallet was stolen, Garrett noted.
Yet she was surprised to get the phone call from Isabella on Sunday saying that her wallet had been found “and that she’d like to return it to me.”
Garrett noted that everything was in the wallet upon its return, “including family photos that I wouldn’t have been able to replace.”
“I am so grateful and I’d love to see her recognized,” Garrett said.
