The Rotary Club of Peachtree City has been a strong supporter of the annual Alzheimer’s Walk in Peachtree City. Organized in 2000 by Floy Farr, one of Peachtree City’s pioneers and long-time Rotarian, the 13th Annual Southern Crescent Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held in Peachtree City Oct. 6. At a recent luncheon the Rotary Club presented a $3,000 check supporting the event to Sue Shaffer, Walk Director. Another check for an additional $2,900 was presented from the Floy Farr Foundation, which is administered by the Rotary Club.
