Mrs. Helen M. Waldrop, age 76 of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away August 10, 2012.
She retired from South Fulton Hospital as a Bacteriologist.
Helen is survived by her husband M.D. “Pete” Waldrop, Sr., sons, M.D. “Pete” (Kimberly) Waldrop, Jr., Major Stephen G. (Tracy) Waldrop; grandchildren, M. D. “Trent” Waldrop, III, W. Alexander Waldrop, and Blake Elizabeth Waldrop; brother, James Mims, Jr., brother-in-laws, Phillip Allen, Larry Browlee; sister, Jean Allen; sister-in-laws, Annette Mims, and Sally Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice Mims; sister, Carol Browlee; and brother-in-law, Albert Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, Ga., on August 16, 2012 at 4 p.m.
The visitation will be on August 15, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date in Springwood Cemetery in Greenville, S.C.
